Bouncy Cubly does not ask for your name, your email address, or any information that identifies you. The game creates an anonymous account, used only to keep your progress and to place you in the ranking. In-app purchases are handled by Apple: we never see your payment details. Nothing is sold or shared with third parties for commercial purposes. From version 1.1 the game shows non-personalised ads served by Google AdMob; the Premium Pack removes them.
| Data | Why | Visible to other players |
|---|---|---|
| Anonymous account identifier (UUID) | Link your progress to your device | No |
| Nickname (optional, chosen by you) | Name you in the ranking | Yes |
| Game progress: coins, gems, skins owned, settings, language, games played, challenges completed, login streak | Keep your progress and restore it if the save on your device is lost | No |
| Best score, best combo, number of games | Build the ranking | Yes (score and nickname only) |
| Duration of a game | Check that a score is plausible, to prevent cheating | No |
| Purchase history: which product was bought, and the Apple transaction identifier | Give you back what you paid for, and stop the same payment from being counted twice | No |
| Technical data sent to Google AdMob: device model, operating system, language, approximate country, install identifier specific to this app | Serving and counting non-personalised ads | No |
No email address, no phone number, no contacts, no precise location, no health data. No advertising identifier is used to follow you from app to app.
Payments. In-app purchases are processed by Apple. Your card number, billing address and Apple Account are never passed to us: we only receive the fact that "this account bought this product", along with the transaction identifier, which is used to verify with Apple that the purchase is genuine.
Advertising. From version 1.1, Bouncy Cubly shows ads served by Google AdMob (Google Ireland Limited): one banner at the bottom of the main menu, and videos you choose to watch in exchange for coins. These ads are non-personalised: they are not based on any advertising profile, the game never shows the iOS tracking prompt (App Tracking Transparency) and never uses your advertising identifier (IDFA) to follow you from app to app. To serve and count these ads, Google receives limited technical data: device model, operating system version, language, approximate country, and an install identifier specific to this app. Google processes that data as an independent controller, under its own rules: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. Buying the Premium Pack removes the banner for good. The game contains no other analytics tool.
The nickname is optional. Without one, you appear under a default name. Choose a nickname that does not identify you if you prefer to stay anonymous: your nickname and best score are publicly visible in the in-game ranking.
Nicknames are automatically filtered to reject offensive content and impersonation.
Data is hosted by Supabase (Supabase, Inc.) on servers located in Ireland, within the European Union. Supabase acts as a data processor under the GDPR.
A session token is also stored on your device, so that you are signed in automatically at launch.
What this means, and its limits. That token is the only thing linking your device to your anonymous account. It is stored inside the game, so if you uninstall Bouncy Cubly it goes with it, and the account becomes permanently unreachable. Because the game never asks for an email address or a password, there is no way to recover it afterwards. For the same reason, installing the game on a second device creates a separate account there rather than a copy of the first.
In other words, the online save protects your progress against a problem on the device, not against an uninstall or a change of phone.
Processing is based on the performance of the service you request: saving your progress, displaying the ranking and delivering your purchases are features of the game and cannot work without this data.
Your data is kept for as long as you use the game.
Anonymous accounts that have never played a single game may be deleted after 30 days of inactivity.
Your data is deleted immediately and permanently when you use the deletion feature.
Transaction records required for our accounting and tax obligations may be kept beyond that point, in a form that no longer identifies you.
The data controller is Boyann Mornandji, a natural person trading under the name Boyn Studio, publisher of Bouncy Cubly.
Any request concerning your data can be sent to boyn.studio@gmail.com.
You have the right to access, rectify, erase and port your data, and to object to its processing.
Deletion: in the game, Options → Legal → Data deletion. Erasure is immediate, permanent, and requires no request to us.
Rectification: you can change your nickname at any time from Options → Nickname.
For any other request, or to lodge a complaint, write to boyn.studio@gmail.com. You may also contact your national data protection authority.
Bouncy Cubly is suitable for all audiences and collects no data that identifies a person. The only free text is the nickname, which is filtered. We encourage parents to remind children not to enter their real name.
The game offers in-app purchases. Parents can turn them off, or require approval for every purchase, from the device's Screen Time settings.
